2010

2010 is just about over and this is the first post of the year. It has been quite the year. Here is goes:
January came with snow and more snow. February Sharyn went to Colorado with some airline points that were about to expire to visit her best friend from college. They had a great time--especially getting their eyebrows waxed! :). March brought Alaska for Sharyn and Josh. Josh turned 12 and received the priesthood just before they left for Alaska. Josh was able to attend a youth leadership conference that was just amazing. Thanks to his Aunt Rosanne, he was also able to go snowboarding and snowmachining for the first time. We had a lot of fun! April Sharyn went to Utah. She got to see several sister in laws and reconnect with them over lunch. May was mother's day--she LOVES her children so much. June was the end of school--yay!! The family took Emily to EFY down at Southern Virginia University and stayed a week in a beautiful log cabin in Shenandoah. We were able to attend church at a small branch and the kids really enjoyed that! Emily LOVED efy and plans on going again next year. July brought Trek. Emily was able to attend and Sharyn went as one of the photographers. It was a great experience! August was girls' camp and well--that's always wonderful. September school started up again. Emily is in 10th grade; Josh is in 7th grade; Abby is in 5th grade; and Ben is in 2nd grade. They grow so quickly. The end of September Deven and Sharyn went on a cruise to Cozumel. It was a lot of fun and we met some great people. October was Halloween--lots of candy from the ward trunk or treat! November our family went to Disneyworld for Thanksgiving where we met our Alaska family. We had a great time! December is all about going to the kids concerts and celebrating Christmas. This year has really gone by so quickly. I could write a bunch more, but will save that for later.
